Using this Mag Malate product at the rate of 6 tabs a day (2 pills 3x/day, with meals = about 800 mg.) has made a dramatic improvement in my husband's primary long-standing Raynaud's disease. He normally has ice-cold fingers and toes -- to the point of complete discoloration -- even in hot weather, and even more so when stressed or fatigued. (See the Wiki article for description and photos.) He has been taught & used relaxation/breathing techniques and can warm up his fingers that way, but it takes time and is not always convenient.

He is NOT much of a pill taker at all, but in just these two weeks of use, he has become committed to this product. His fingers are warm and a normal red color now.

This product does not cause loose stools (diarrhea) like mag citrate could at this dosage. We have now put it on auto-ship, which makes it less expensive. For two people, one bottle lasts one month (6 pills/day x 30 days = 180 pills; x two people = 360 pills.)... Read more

Have been taking this product for a couple of years now for fatigue. The difference is clear and awesome. Somewhere below, somebody gave the advice to take 2 portions of calcium for each single portion of magnesium. That recommendation is actually INCORRECT. I have sold magnesium and calcium products for years and specialize in this area.

The 2:1 calcium/magnesium ratio works ONLY for people who have a fairly BALANCED body. People who have problems and symptoms, will require calcium in an amount that is either equal, none at all, or somewhere in between. It will be up to the user. The reason is simple: people with symptoms have magnesium imbalance tend to have a problem with calcium metabolism. They need high magnesium and low to no calcium. I have seen endless examples of this. Once a person gets better it may be ok to increase the calcium. But if you feel worse with the calcium, drop it again and stick for with the magnesium.

The standard 2:1 calcium/magnesium... Read more

The body is complex and not all products will work the same for everyone, but my experience with this product is nothing short of miraculous. I have suffered from migraines for 20 years. I have used Excedrin Migraine, caffeine pills and prescription medications. All these did was control the pain and mask the symptoms. I still almost always had a dull headache and if I didn't catch a migraine coming on in time; well, anyone who suffers from migraines knows too well the result.

Last month, while on vacation at a high altitude, I got food poisoning that left me dehydrated. A migraine then came on that was more severe than any I had previously experienced. After this episode, I started researching alternatives to try to solve, rather than mask the problem. I read numerous articles that extolled the virtues of magnesium to resolve the symptoms of migraine headaches. I also read that malate was the best companion to magnesium. Somewhat suspect, I decided to give this... Read more
