Not only do these taste the best out of all the flavors I tried, but they don't have as many - or in some cases any, I think - of the artificial dye chemicals that the colored Tums have. As a pregnant woman who goes through 7-10 of these A DAY on average, it's important to me that a) I'm putting any unnecessary chemicals into my system that can harm my developing baby,and b) these things taste decently! The only problem with them is they're difficult to find in the stores.

This is one of the best antacids available. Not only does it take out your heartburn but it tastes great with no bad aftertaste like most of them have. They are not gritty and Chalky. I have never figured out how some of these items can be both gritty and chalky at the same time but many of the other ones are that way. NOT THESE!! I have actually taken one just because the flavor was so good and I wished to take a bad taste out of my mouth. I LOVE these. Dray

All the drug stores around me have yanked Equalactin since it changed its packaging to say it was for nervous stomach and not IBS. It's the ONLY thing that works for IBS. I started taking D-ribose because I had tried (what seems like) everything else to combat systemic pain; I had a foot injury that wouldn't heal and somehow angered my entire body. I had swollen joints,tendons and tight muscles combined with overall exhaustion (not to mention I was pretty cranky). By a fluke, I read that D-ribose might help.

Within a week, the muscle cramping was gone, the swelling diminished, but most importantly, my energy level went up. Now, three weeks later, I feel almost completely back to full energy with very little pain.

For me, after fighting with pain for 8 months and dragging my sorry self through each day, this is pretty miraculous. I am very grateful.

I split each pill in half and take a half morning and night. The taste is fine and reminds me of chewable vitamin C.

I was having severe energy swings due to a major relapse of an incurable immune system disease from which I suffer. I decided that something was interfering with my ATP production and went out to find a solution. This was it, a simple sugar that is believed to be involved in and promote ATP production. Worked and works for me. I chew 3 tablets in the late morning; not every day, but more when I know I will need energy throughout the day; coffee gets me going in the morning. The only other endorsement I can offer is that I talked to my older sister (we are both over 60) a couple weeks after I started taking D-ribose only to find out that she had "discovered" it herself and was taking it with equal success. And there is no speeding or hangover; I suppose if you took too much, you might get something like "sugar shock" and/or a "sugar hangover", but that hasn't happened to either of us.
