I discovered Papaya Enzyme at a local vitamin store over 25 years ago and ended my battle with heartburn, a battle that had be marked by daily (or I should say multiple daily) episodes of heartburn while taking all the usual brand names during that era.

During the first week of using papaya enzyme (PE), I used upwards of 30 tablets a day but by the end of the second week I had stopped using them completely. After that, I used PE only as needed. What I learned is that taking 20 tablets of PE is harmless - there were no side effects. However, taking too few tablets would not do the job. If you start with say five tablets, you may need to go higher and should not be afraid to do so.

I don't believe papaya enzyme is a good remedy for upset stomach due to intestinal flu or for stomach gas. This product is more for excess stomach acid and related heartburn (IMO).

There were supposed to be 600 tablets in each bottle. There were only 250. Although the American Health Original Papaya Enzyme tablets are exactly what I wanted and what we use, it was disappointing to believe we were getting 600 when the bottles only contained 250. With this supplier, be sure to try contacting them before ordering to make sure everything is as you expect.

I was anemic and since taking two pills a day for 2 months I am no longer anemic. This is the only iron pill that did not make me constipated, quite the contrary I have never been more regular. Feosol is the best iron supplement out there! It is gentler on the stomach, and that is crucial for me. I recommend having some food in your stomach...after breakfast, or a light snack. I tried taking it on an empty stomach, I could taste it for an hour after....not pleasant.

I take only one a day, it's been two weeks, and I can feel the difference =) More energy!! Before taking the iron, activia was all I needed in the poop regulation dept., but now I have to add more fiber.

This is a great price for 2 bottles of Feosol. This product really is the best for those who have to take an iron supplement!

I came across Alive from the recommendations of a co-worker. I am interested in supplements, organic foods, etc in keeping the body healthy and like the idea that this product comes from the expelled nutrients from plants, mushrooms and other sources.

First people notice is the color and taste. On some sights people refer to this product as "swamp juice". Initially I took the vitamins as a cap full shot every morning, followed by drinking some juice or water. The taste is not terrible, but it's better to not let it linger. I found mixed results with this method though, since in the morning I often was taking this on an empty stomach. I would get the nausea associated with taking any heavy dose on an empty stomach. But if you take this vitamin as a shot you will probably feel a instant charge of energy, or in the following minutes, much like a shot of caffeine or oxygen. Alive! is actually one of the better liquid vitamins on the market. Loaded with vegetables, fruits and green foods, no preservatives, no dairy, vegetarian formula, etc. It has 25 vitamins & minerals, 24 fruits & vegetables, 18 amino acids, 14 green foods, 12 organic mushrooms, 12 digestive enzymes, plus bioflavonoids, EFAs, herbs, nucleic acids and trace minerals.

The packaging is great. The taste isn't the best, nor anything you expect. However...you won't find a better liquid multi vitamin that is as potent as this (at least I haven't found one yet, so until I do...).

Fill the vitamin in the cap and 'shoot' it down, quick and easy. Don't think about it, don't taste it, and heaven forbid, don't swish it around like mouthwash. Chase it with a swig of cranberry juice (the stronger juice taste will override the vitamin taste). The longer you think about it, the more harder it is to swallow.

I agree with the person who says to treat it like whiskey. Just take a shot of it and get it over with. The tablet form is pretty big and hard to swallow, and not to mention that you have to take 3 of those tablets a day. Liquid vitamins retains more of the vitamins than the tablets, but don't expect them to taste like a milkshake. To me, it's the end result that really matters.

After a couple of weeks of using the product, I did feel quite a difference. I used to take a lot of naps after school or work, and it was really hard for me to last the entire day. Along with exercise and somewhat of a decent diet, I'm up the entire day without feeling as tired as I used to. I also wake up energized without having to hit the snooze anymore. I'm not saying this is a miracle product, but I'm pretty sure you will feel the difference after two weeks or so.
