Initially I took the vitamins as a cap full shot every morning, followed by drinking some juice or water. The taste is not terrible, but it's better to not let it linger. I found mixed results with this method though, since in the morning I often was taking this on an empty stomach. I would get the nausea associated with taking any heavy dose on an empty stomach. But if you take this vitamin as a shot you will probably feel a instant charge of energy, or in the following minutes, much like a shot of caffeine or oxygen. However...you won't find a better liquid multi vitamin that is as potent as this (at least I haven't found one yet, so until I do...). Fill the vitamin in the cap and 'shoot' it down, quick and easy. Don't think about it, don't taste it, and heaven forbid, don't swish it around like mouthwash. Chase it with a swig of cranberry juice (the stronger juice taste will override the vitamin taste). Read more 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful Yes, the taste does suck, but this is a great product!, After a couple of weeks of using the product, I did feel quite a difference. I used to take a lot of naps after school or work, and it was really hard for me to last the entire day. Along with exercise and somewhat of a decent diet, I'm up the entire day without feeling as tired as I used to. I also wake up energized without having to hit the snooze anymore. I'm not saying this is a miracle product, but I'm pretty sure you will feel the difference after two weeks or so.
